As part of the operation, the association Hells Angels Motorcycle Club Leverkusen was banned and dissolved.
The Interior Ministry described the operation as the largest action against biker-related crime in the history of North Rhine-Westphalia. Homes and business premises belonging to members and supporters were searched.
The ban and the raids are based on the results of ongoing investigations, with suspects accused, among other things, of forming a criminal organization.
